In-Person Programme – Alton, Hampshire
Find understanding, connection and support from people who truly understand……..
Our group programmes bring together expert-led learning, practical tools and the opportunity to connect with others living with persistent symptoms.
Together, we explore why some health challenge’s can continue even when medical tests or scans are clear or are not fully explaining what someone is experiencing. One evolving area of understanding is the role that the brain and nervous system can play in persistent symptoms, sometimes referred to as ‘neuroplastic’ or ‘mind-body’ symptoms.
This does not mean that symptoms are imagined or “all in your head”. They are real physical experiences and can include persistent pain, dizziness and fatigue, as well as fibromyalgia, IBS, migraines and many more. Some people may also have physical findings, such as disc degeneration or other changes on a scan, which may not fully explain the severity or persistence of what they are experiencing.
Our programmes may be right for you if you:
- have been assessed by healthcare professionals
- live with ongoing symptoms that are affecting your daily life
- have clear scans or tests, or the symptoms are not fully explained by medical findings
- feel stuck or unsure what to do next
- want to better understand your body
- would value learning and connecting with others who share similar experiences
Our programmes are not a replacement for medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment. They are designed for people whose persistent symptoms may involve neuroplastic or nervous-system processes.
Understanding your symptoms can open up new possibilities
Learning how your symptoms work can ease fear and uncertainty, and make room to respond with more confidence and self-compassion.
Whether you’re attending a workshop or joining a longer programme, you’ll find a welcoming space to learn, share and take positive steps towards living well.

We’ll soon be offering free introductory webinars to help you understand what the programme is about and decide whether it feels like the right fit for you.
We’ll give you an insight into the programme content, how the workshops will run and what commitment is involved. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and meet the facilitator.
1. The Programme
The programme consists of five weekly, in-person workshops in Alton, Hampshire.
Across the five weeks, we explore the science behind persistent symptoms and how the brain and nervous system can play a role in generating and maintaining them. We look at factors such as stress, emotions and our responses to what we feel in our bodies.
Through education, reflection and practical exercises, we explore the patterns and processes that may be contributing to what you’re experiencing, and how you can begin to work with your body rather than constantly feeling that you are fighting against it.
This isn’t about simply managing symptoms. It’s about understanding them differently and exploring what is possible for you.
2. Community Groups
After completing the programme, you can choose to join our monthly community meet-ups in Alton.
The programme workshops give you the knowledge and tools.
The community gives you the opportunity to put that learning into practice, together.
These monthly sessions provide space to:

- Peer support in an uplifting community
- Talk through challenges and obstacles
- Receive guidance from an experienced facilitator

Testimonials
“I attended a webinar held by Sara where she talked about the mind-body connection, nervous system health and most importantly how the principles can be used to for chronic conditions such as pain and chronic fatigue.
Sara is a SIRPA Practitioner and obviously very knowledgeable about what she does and yet she explained it in a very clear and easy to understand way.
I suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which began about 12 years ago. It took me a lot of personal research, many wrong turnings and years of my life before I managed to find the answers and turn my life around.
I wish that Sara’s webinar had been around 12 years ago as it had the insights that I needed at that time all clearly laid out! Highly recommend!.” Claire Gibbs
“Sara’s chronic symptoms meetings were fantastic, meeting like-minded people in similar situations was empowering. You realise you are not alone, a true sense of community was created. I have seen so many pain warriors grow with Sara’s help, guidance and caring, and she really does. A true passion for her which shows through her success of helping me and many more.” Natalie
